The SCBA is an independent, Zurich-based platform dedicated to promoting economic, scientific, and cultural relations between Switzerland and China. We support SMEs, startups, universities, and cultural institutions through matchmaking, delegations, knowledge exchange, and high-quality events.

Robert E. Gubler

President

He has more than 30 years of experience in public affairs, marketing, and location management, and is the founder and partner of Communicators Zürich AG. He supports companies, public institutions, and educational organizations in developing effective communication strategies. 

Thanks to his broad network in politics, business, and education, he is able to foster dialogue and successfully anchor projects. His areas of focus include positioning, reputation and crisis communication, as well as the management of complex communication projects.

A graduate of ZHAW Zurich with over 20 years of experience in Switzerland.
Founder of Aletschmed, with a strong network across Switzerland and Germany for state-of-the-art medical technologies and health management. 

Michael Wu

 Chief Representative for the China Region 

 A graduate of the University of Technology Sydney with a degree in Business Administration and experience at international companies including JLL and the Sany Group.
Founder of Gonglian Puchuang Technology Services Co. in Beijing, specializing in connecting international industrial projects with China.

Xinan Dong

Graduate of the University of Mannheim with over 15 years of strategic project management experience at UBS/Credit Suisse. She is an important bridge-builder between the China and Switzerland markets and an expert in HNWI/UHNWI relationship management.
